Parotec are a leading manufacturer of protective charge and sync case solutions. Serving both the commercial and IT market, they supply protective cases for tools and equipment, as well as cases and carts for laptops, tablets, VR equipment, and more. Although Parotec has taken on a range of projects with Active EMS, their latest project involved creating a prototype for a major electronics company. With a need to deliver high-quality results within a short timeframe, they chose to partner with us. They had previously manufactured in the Far East, but shifted to the UK years ago, prioritising quality and accuracy over cost savings. Whenever possible, they source materials locally to support this commitment.

We took charge of the board design, sourced cost-effective components and created the prototype. Leveraging our DFM (design-for-manufacture) experience and resources, we managed to complete the project to meet Parotec’s tight deadline, keeping the project on target. While this approach wouldn’t work for a large volume order, it was perfect for the type of order they required.

The short turnaround on the prototype not only met the urgent demands but also reinforced our reputation for reliability and quality. The prototype was delivered on time, meeting all the specifications and standards required by the major electronics company. This success has strengthened Parotec’s relationship with their client, opening up opportunities for future projects.
